Acceptable Use Policy

This policy defines what is and isn't allowed on the Maahir platform.

1. What's Allowed

• ✅ Learning AI skills through exercises, scenarios, and assessments
• ✅ Sharing knowledge in the forum, helping peers, asking thoughtful questions
• ✅ Building and publishing projects in the showcase
• ✅ Participating in battles, tournaments, and study groups respectfully
• ✅ Using AI tools responsibly for learning, not for cheating
• ✅ Reporting bugs, suggesting features, and giving constructive feedback

2. Prohibited Behaviors

Academic Dishonesty

• ❌ Submitting AI-generated work as your own without disclosure
• ❌ Sharing assessment answers with other students
• ❌ Creating fake proofs or fabricating project deliverables
• ❌ Impersonating another user during assessments

Harmful Conduct

• ❌ Harassment, bullying, or hate speech (see Anti-Harassment Policy)
• ❌ Sharing another person's private information without consent (doxxing)
• ❌ Threatening or intimidating other users
• ❌ Posting sexual, violent, or otherwise inappropriate content

Platform Abuse

• ❌ Creating multiple accounts to manipulate leaderboards or earn points
• ❌ Attempting to hack, DDoS, or otherwise disrupt the platform
• ❌ Scraping or bulk-downloading content for redistribution
• ❌ Using the platform to send spam or unsolicited commercial messages
• ❌ Uploading malware, viruses, or malicious code

Misuse of AI

• ❌ Using platform AI to generate content that violates this policy
• ❌ Attempting to extract the underlying AI model or training data
• ❌ Bypassing AI safety guardrails or content filters

5. Appeals

If you believe a moderation decision was wrong, you may appeal within 14 days by emailing appeals@maahir.io with your case number.
